About biostructor
About
We come from medicine, mathematics, bioengineering, and computer science, but we meet at the same table—united by a fascination with how living systems hold themselves together and how people learn to understand them. We all remember the moment physiology finally “clicked,” and we want to make that moment easier to reach for the next wave of learners.
How we work
Our practice is shaped by ongoing collaborations with the Universities of Amsterdam, Indiana, Padova, and Auckland. These institutions have helped us think more rigorously, design more creatively, and stay honest about what we know (and what we don’t). Sector, Ostensor, and Lector are not ivory-tower outputs; they’re open, evolving resources built with partners who value curiosity as much as accuracy.

What we value
Lowering barriers to medical training
Widening the public’s physiology literacy
Honouring the shared human stories behind scientific progress
We welcome clinicians, researchers, educators, artists who recognize themselves in that mission. If you share these priorities, there’s space for your voice in our digital anatomy theatre.
The Team
We are a small, international team of scientists interested in managing physiology knowledge: Bernard de Bono [LinkedIn], Natallia Kokash [LinkedIn] and Rossana Occhipinti [LinkedIn].
We come from medicine, mathematics, and computer science, united by the goal of lowering barriers to knowledge in physiology.
