About biostructor

Dashboard

We come from medicine, mathematics, bioengineering, and computer science, but we meet at the same table—united by a fascination with how living systems hold themselves together and how people learn to understand them. We all remember the moment physiology finally “clicked,” and we want to make that moment easier to reach for the next wave of learners.

How we work

Our practice is shaped by ongoing collaborations with the Universities of Amsterdam, Indiana, Padova, and Auckland. These institutions have helped us think more rigorously, design more creatively, and stay honest about what we know (and what we don’t). Sector, Ostensor, and Lector are not ivory-tower outputs; they’re open, evolving resources built with partners who value curiosity as much as accuracy.

MEET THE PLATFORM
Built for anyone who feels biomedical knowledge matters— and shouldn’t be inaccessible.

Biostructor is for students of medicine, physiology, and bioengineering who struggle not with effort, but with fragmentation—concepts taught in isolation, mechanisms divorced from structure, and little guidance on how ideas connect or where a degree can lead.

It is for professionals who want to revisit physiology not as memorized detail, but as a living system that informs clinical reasoning, research, and innovation.

And it is for the scientifically curious public, whose lives are shaped by medicine, pharmaceuticals, and public health policy—yet who are rarely given clear tools to understand how bodies actually work.

The problem biostructor addresses is not a lack of information, but a lack of intelligible structure. We build conceptual, visual, and narrative frameworks that allow physiological knowledge to be navigated rather than endured.

What we value

Lowering barriers to medical training

Widening the public’s physiology literacy

Honouring the shared human stories behind scientific progress

We welcome collaborators—clinicians, researchers, educators, artists—who recognise themselves in that mission. If you share these priorities, there’s space for your voice in our digital anatomy theatre.

biostructor is powered by curiosity, collaboration, and care. Bring your perspective; we’ll bring the tools to make physiology legible.

What we do?

A small, international collective of volunteer scientists making physiology clearer, kinder, and more accessible than it was when we first learned it.

We come from medicine, mathematics, bioengineering, and computer science but meet at the same table, united by a fascination with how living systems hold themselves together and how people learn to understand them.
